Hanging out in the hot springs pretending to be pirates, was one of the many things i wound up doing in a destination i didn't plan to be.
Greece ended up being on a late add on, to an already extended summer.
Leaving last minute with the plan to island hop sounded fabulous in theory. Flying by ferries like they were standing still, i landed straight in Santorini.
A month later i found myself still floating on a sun-bed in the same destination.
Many people told me the islands were all the same, sometimes i use that as my excuse for standing still.
Santorini gave me 45degree days, endless greek salads, cocktails at any hours and a whole island of bait.
Now i wonder why i ever left??
